Saturday, November 22, 2008 at noon marked the Grand Opening of Warren’s Train Shop at Ogden’s historic Union Station.  Originally, the shop was run there by Warren Holmgren and his wife, Dee, for 25 years.  With an eye toward retirement, they sold the shop which continued to operate as Zephyr Station these last two years or so.  Business declined under the new ownership and Warren came out of retirement in hopes of saving the space in the grand old station and finding a new owner to move the business forward.

It was in the stars.  Warren found three interested, motivated and able  “Partners” in Rick Glismann, Rob Bruening and Daniel Caballero.  All are active model railroaders and railfans.

The partners are very motivated to provide excellent customer service and to make Warren’s Train Shop the premier scale model train shop in the inter-mountain west (serving Utah, Idaho and Wyoming). We stand ready to support the "world's greatest hobby", scale model railroading.
